Lena Pira
Lena Pira graduated from California State University Los Angeles with degrees in early childhood education and curriculum development. In 2008, Lena felt God calling her to Uganda for full-time ministry and partnered with NMSI to aid her in walking in Christ's footsteps.
Lena has been in Uganda since July 2009, working in partnership with Africa Renewal Ministries (www.africarenewal.org) and Gaba Bible Institute (www.gbiuganda.org). Lena is the Head of Program Development at Gaba Bible Institute where she is currently working on launching their newest diploma program in Child Development.
Lena loves art, Christian music, design, any type of encouragement, hanging out with friends, and watching God work in unexpected ways. Her desire in all she does is to bring glory to God.
